When I die

I hope it's on the set of Days of Our Lives. That way I will come back in a few weeks or months, completely unchanged, save for a handsome tan (and more money from the contract renegotiation). And the best part? It won't take long for me to figure out what I missed and pick back up into life. Unless, of course, I have amnesia or have been turned into a killing zombie by Stefano DeMerra.

There's a down side: Mendy will likely have remarried at least once, and "had relations" with several people, including one villain and possibly one suspected family member (later discovered to be a vagrant, or something). That's just the way it rolls at DoOL. If we did get back together, raising her love child would only take about 4 years from birth to college, so that's a big plus.

Today will round out day number 13 of training, and usher in a sweet, sweet rest day tomorrow. I wonder if I'm getting slap-happy yet? Nah, couldn't be. I think I'm going from general soreness to general numbness. Either that, or my body is adapting to the new level of training, which is much better. The weather is looking AWESOME right now, and coupled with the time change I'm likely to be doing a lot more out in the fo really reals world.

This may be the last journal entry until we get back with race reports, so we'll see you then! Mendy's gonna do GREAT, and I know she can meet and exceed her goals. Eye of the tiger! And to any body else racing this weekend, go kick it's butt! Leave it all on the course so you don't come back with regrets. And for the rest: train hard and have some fun. Hopefully our northern neighbors (Lily, this means you) will start to see a break from the snow soon!
