What a year it's been

It's kinda hard to believe that one year ago I stared the reaper dead in the face, and told him to get outta my friggen way. Had I never experienced my little "interruption" in training, I'm sure I would be were I would like to be right now. But, I honestly didn't think I would be back to this level of fitness and speed as I spent the many hours thinking over what had happened and how beat up I was. Most surprising of all is that my face (for better or for worse) looks almost exactly like it did before I did my physics experiment, save for some small scarring!

It's been a crazy year, for sure, but I'm glad to be back on the road!

I like that picture, btw. You don't look as serious as you do in the others. I'd like to do that course next year!

Wow, has it been a year already? It seems like just yesterday that you briefly took up pavement body surfing...a hobby best left to others. I'm glad to see that you came out of it alright.

Wow DAve! Man, I had not idea about your spill (course I didn;t know you last year) Just goes ot show that you nevr know where someone has been or what they have been through. I'm glad that you made it through and came out better on the other end.

You know, reading about the situation that led to your crash I would say that that we have all been there and done what you did and somehow pulled out of it. A good reminder to all of us that it can happen to even the best cyclist (and happen fast).............

Thanks for sharing it. Again, glad that it was not any worse. You're a tough dude man!
